Training Instructor / Facilitator at Petrotrin for

 

Drilling Operations Management of Change Training. Custom Designed, developed curriculum for Technical MOC required for the transition of Drilling Personnel to work on Workover Rigs, prepared training material, multimedia presentations for Toolpusher, Drillers, Assistant Drillers, Derrickmen and Floormen

 

Workover Operations Training Series Training. Custom Designed, developed curriculum for 20 modules, prepared training material, multimedia presentations (all peer reviewed) and Baseline Competency Assessments

 

Tank Farm Production Operator Training. Custom Designed, Developed Curriculum, prepared training material, multimedia presentations and lectured in the area of Production Operations – Hydrocarbon Processing Facility (Tank Farm & Offshore Operations). Assessed the competence of students through written examinations and oral submissions whilst on field visits.

 

Offshore Production Operations Training.  This was a successfully completed pilot, 1-year tertiary level training program organized by PETROTRIN, COSTATT (State). Training Design Team member for E&P Upstream and Process Programs. Prepared training material, multimedia presentations and lectured in the area of Production Operations – Hydrocarbon Processing Facility (Tank Farm & Offshore Operations, GOSF) with a Process Engineering perspective, Reservoir and Geological Fundamentals and Technical Reporting. Assessed the competence of students through written examinations and practical field simulations.

 

Fluid Level Acquisition Technical & Operational bridging training. Custom Designed, Developed Curriculum, Prepared training material, multimedia presentations and lectured in the area of Production Operations – Fluid Level Acquisition in PCP wells. Assessed the competence of students through written examinations & practical demonstration.

 

Technical Well Survey Operator Training / Wireline / Slickline Operations. Conception to Completion. Principal Instructor, Programme Designer and Competency Assessor (Field and Classroom based) Custom Designed, Curriculum Development, Prepared training material, multimedia presentations and lectured in the area of Production Operations – Fluid Level Acquisition in PCP and Pumping wells, Slickline / Wireline Operations, Wireline Pressure & Temperature Surveys, Reservoir and Geology Fundamentals, Safety Considerations applicable to TWSO Operations, Introduction to Artificial Lift Systems, System Design utilizing Specialized Software, Equipment Maintenance. Assessed the competence of students through written examinations & practical demonstration. Pilot and Mainstream training completed.

 

Company recognized standard for CPD of existing staff and mandatory entry requirement for new hires.

Outstanding Performance Award received from Petrotrin

 

Technical Training Evaluator for Power Generation Platform Pre Commissioning Training: Components- Solar Turbines; Process; E&I. Recommendations provided to service provider subsequently, modifications were made to training material and delivery for effective training.

 

Process Safety Instructor: Company Wide Development and Sensitization of Process Safety Management System: Team Member for Process Safety Management (API RP 750) Roll out to Senior Management & Internal Audit Department.

 

Competency Assessor for the Refinery Alkyl Acid Pneumatic to DCS Transitioning. ATR computer-based training and assessment programme.
